We are serious about ensuring that our workforce and our leaders reflect the diversity of the community we serve. We are measuring ourselves against targets in a range of areas, including having a gender balanced workforce and leadership team by 2019/20.

Through our Reconciliation Action Plan we want to contribute to a society that celebrates and protects the ongoing cultural and spiritual connections of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to the land and waterways.

We acknowledge the continued cultural, social and spiritual connections that Aboriginal people have with the lands and waters, and recognise and value that the Traditional Owner groups have cared for and protected them for thousands of generations.
We will further develop our partnership with the Traditional Owner groups to ensure their contributions to the future of the water management landscape and to maintain their cultural and spiritual connection.
